Seriously, not sure if this is a Middle Tennessee thing, as our last house was in another city completely and we had this issue there too. We don’t have a brick mailbox, it’s just a regular black metal one and there’s no hive or anything around that I can see. I have killed a few of these this month and they always come back. They’re aggressive too! If I go to check my mail, I need a bee suit. I know my next door neighbor has been killing them too as he mentioned them trying to attack him while getting his mail too. What the heck, wasps??
