Being close to family.
When my 90 yr. old mom surprised me w. a visit. I hadn’t seen her for years due to a bad back and it was so wonderful seeing her again. Made my year!
Being seated around the table with family, and enjoying the company and knowing I came from wonderful loving folks. Many of my family have passed on – parents, grandparents, so I cherish the memories of the meals we had while they were still here.

i wenti into labor with my first child….MY DAUGHTER! she is now going to be 18 this November!
The first thanksgiving after I lost my grandpa. It seemed odd to not have him around and I realized how much I took him for granted. I spent most of the night asking my grandma questions about their past, their marriage, raising nine kids, and his time serving in WWII. I cherished every moment and soaked it in all evening.
The last one with my grandmother, when I got to feed her. We knew it was likely her last holiday meal.
The last one with some loved ones who passed through out the year.
My Great Grandma passed away 11 years ago on Thanksgiving day. It devastated me. She was a pillar of our family. Thanksgiving has never been the same since.
Spending time with my grandparents. We went to their house every year growing up and I enjoyed it.
Looking at m children around the table and imagining them in the same seating position 15+ years from now.
Giving birth to my son….turkey baby! Lol Thanks for the great giveaways!
My first Thanksgiving as a new wife and making dinner for my new family.
Having three long tables set up end to end from the living room to the dining room in order to seat all of our family!!
great prize i would love to have one
My most significant Thanksgiving memory is one year when I was about 9 I got up early with my Grandma to help her make dinner. She taught me how to make her stuffing (a recipe I still make every year) and then while the food was cooking we sat to watch the parade on TV. I remember feeling so loved and special.
Celebrating Thanksgiving with my boyfriend’s family for the first time was quite the stepping stone in our relationship!
having thanksgiving with all my kids and my hubby just ourselves was so relaxing and a major milestone in us finally having FAMILY time ourselves!
I would have to say my very first Thanksgiving after being married only a month and being a new Mom for the first time. I was so nervous while cooking everything, but it turned out just great! Thanks to my Mom and being on the phone with her so she could guide me through. That was 35 yrs. ago and Mom is no longer with us, but I will always remember how she encouraged me to do that very first Thanksgiving Dinner. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
I can still remember when my grandparents were alive. We would go there for Thanksgiving dinner. I can still remember the dishes grandma would make. I miss those days. But now I am making new traditions….Life moves on. Have a blessed Thanksgiving with your family.
My most memorable Thanksgiving was the last one I had with all of my sister and my mother and father. They have all passed now. So have some my sisters children have too.

My comment is on Free Kindle Books. I use this site a lot. I was given a Kindle Fire and I read a lot.I am very poor and can not afford to buy many books but I find a lot I like on Free Kindle Books. I would love to win this for my niece who in the same position I am.

I really enjoyed getting together with family and just having a blast. My mom is the best cook so dinner was always good, but on Turkey Day it was EXCELLENT
I love the whole season of Autumn, besides maybe the cold.
Thanksgiving has always been one of my favorite holidays because the ENTIRE family always gets together. We enjoy the time, food and the beginning of the holiday season. This year will be very different as our son is in boot camp and will not be at the dinner table with us. We are trying to be positive for him and will send him some funny photo’s to hopefully make him smile.
