We’re on fall break for a few days. Yesterday we rented a boat and climbed a small mountain. I kept thinking I was going to pass out, but I recall a saying about how your brain quits way before your body does as I pushed on.
We didn’t have time to get to the summit, but we made it to a nice lookout near the top.
My 6 and 8 year olds were pushing themselves and now they can tell their friends that they climbed a mountain on fall break!
Going back down the hill Chee skinned her leg up a little, but we practically ran down as we were being pushed for time. I must admit coming back down was easier on my heart rate, but was much harder for balance.
