I was given the chance to review a complimentary product from Personalcreations.com in order to facilitate a review of their website. I went online to order my product and navigating their website was a breeze. The menu bar at the top has many occasions and recipients to choose from in order to find what interests you the most. I was not sure what I would want to order, so I took a quick look around. I love the personalized stockings, but halfway down the page under Christmas I found the item I wanted to order.
For $29.99 I chose this super cute Santa and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer figurine. I loved the thought of putting our names on the list for Santa to hold. It turned out great! It is bigger than you may think on first glance. He’s a little taller than a 20 ounce candle and just as wide as one too.
From their site, “A Personal Creations Exclusive! Santa has made his list and now he’s checking it twice with Rudolph at his side! 3-D hand painted resin figurine stands 8 1/2″H. We laser engrave up to 12 names on Santa’s list, up to 9 characters per name.”
The Santa came packed very well! He was in a box packed with form fitting Styrofoam inside another box packed with packing peanuts. I was very impressed with the packing job and felt that they were working hard to protect my item from drops, breaks, or crazy delivery men. Santa came out looking great and the list was personalized with the names that I had selected. Everything was spelled correctly and the list slid right into Santa’s hand (and a little metal rod is at the bottom that sticks into the side of the snow to keep it in place). Note on the photo to the right I have the list turned around backwards so you can see the pin that sticks out on the side. You can also compare the size to the Jewelry Candle to his left. Scroll down to see the back of the figurine as there are some cute characters back there too.
The kids were thrilled to see Santa’s list included Mom, Dad, The boy, Cheech, and five of their cousins’ names. The etching was done in the same fancy print font as shown above. The kids were laughing that mom and dad are on the list, but I reminded them that we get a stocking each year and we have to be good too! All in all I was very pleased with our Rudolph and Santa decoration! It’s going to go on my mantle right after Thanksgiving so the kids can remember who has their eyes on them.
The overall shopping experience was wonderful! I had no problems with ordering, checkout, delivery, or with my item. I received an email letting me know when my item was shipped, what the tracking number was, and another email indicating that it had been delivered. The UPS truck left the package and the very next time I checked my email the confirmation of delivery was inside. I feel that the company was on top of my order the entire time.
