J.C. Penney brings back free haircuts for kids and during October to breast cancer survivors

So JC Penney really enjoyed the back to school promotion and they’re doing it again! In fact, if I read it correctly they’re saying that J.C. Penney will be making it a permanent offer every Sunday, starting Nov. 4.

They are also offering free haircuts to breast cancer survivors in October, which is breast cancer awareness month. I’m not sure how they’ll check that, but I wanted to pass it on in case you or someone you love have beaten Breast Cancer (and would like a haircut at J.C. Penney).

I saw this over at the Huffington Post and they mentioned that the back to school deal brought in a lot of children (and parents) who haven’t been in a J.C. Penney for years and they were excited at the increased business. We did the August haircut (since my kids are in the K-6th grade) and it went smoothly! We set our appointment and when we got there (15 mins early) they said to wait a few minutes and we were back before our actual appointment time and the haircuts looked great! Even dealing with my haircut hating son they did great. Chee will talk the stylist’s ear off and she did, so that lady was like bye – pet your dog Cassie for me and good luck in first grade. I was happy that the kids left happy (the boy was happy to be done).

I’d take them back in November for another free haircut. As long as they make appointments and stay on schedule, we’ll be great!

And I know this photo doesn’t go with the new promo, I’ll change this one out if they release another one, but I still liked this ad. :)
