Chee wants to be a Zoohuth according to her Star of the week poster!

Each child gets chosen as the star of the week over the course of the school year. Last week Chee received the “Star of the Week Poster” to fill out and turn back in on Monday. It said to let the kid draw, write, color, and do it all themselves. Then it went on to say “do your best work” which I found easier with my son as he waited on me to sit with him, erase letters that were hard to read, and let me proof it as he went.  I didn’t have that luxury this time. Chee was so excited about being student of the week that she came home and got right to work on her poster before homework time, so when I was not there for proofing. She presented it to me the other day and I was a little unhappy that she used crayon to write her words. The words were supposed to be “her best work” but as she’s my second child (I guess) and she put so much thought into it, I let her take this to class this morning.

I’ll try to interpret, but I don’t know what a few words are, a little help please??

This is my favorite. “I am a star because… I am pretty”

This says, “I show others I care by…helping others”

Color: Green.

Animal: Puppies (Thanks Bethany and Heather!)

Food: Chack

*OK she says the food was “Mac and Cheese” and I was like huh? It looks more like Chocolate and she was like Oh it could be that too. Darnit

Book: Monster High

Sport: Running

Thing to do in school: Either make Goats IDs, or Go Outside.

Thing to do at home: Play Monster High (Why High is spelled Hiu here and High above, not sure unless she got her favorite book and copied the title)

I have no earthly idea what she wants to be when she grows up.

Zoohuth doesn’t sound like anything that I know at all. I’ll ask her later, but ideas??

*and the mystery remains on zoohuth, as she said, “I want to work at a zoo” and I was like what’s the Huth part? She’s like I didn’t write that. Sure you didn’t. So I’ve been calling her a zoo huth this afternoon. She’s mad at me.

I hope she gets a good grade on it, because it was ALL her work – I just showed up to try to decipher it. If you’re Chee’s teacher and reading this, I’m sorry. If you want us to work on it together I can get her best work to come out, but she loves to write and will likely do the next assignment at lunchtime or during recess so that it’s all hers again. She’s a little stinker who will one day be a zoohuth, if I can figure out what it is!
