This week is Swagbucks Spirit Week! I never heard of it, but they’ll be releasing swagcodes, having games, and more.

If you’re not already playing in swagland – let me tell you what it is. Swagbucks is a way to earn rewards (like Amazon GCs, paypal cash, etc.) just for searching the internet. There’s other ways to earn like special offers and swagcodes, but if you’re new and just starting out seriously you’ll want to go here and sign up. Then go through swagbucks as your search engine in your daily internet usage. I bet you’ll have enough to get a $5 Amazon GC in a few weeks if you’re really trying.

Swagbucks facebook page is also a good place to keep an eye out for codes. The rules state that codes aren’t allowed to be shared anywhere except by swagbucks, but many times people will say thanks and point to a location to find the code. Codes just give you swagbucks quicker, but you don’t have to do the code hunts at all.

Good luck in all your swagtastic searching. I have been on SB for a WHILE and I love it! Seriously I haven’t had any problems with them at all. They’ve always paid up and seem pretty fair.

Q: What is a Swagbuck?
A: It’s a virtual currency, think of it more like points if that helps.

Q: What do I do with a Swag buck?
A: You save them up until you have enough to get a prize! Their site has an area called the “Swag Store” and that’s where you trade the swagbucks you’ve earned into prizes!

Q: Does it work?
A: Absolutely! I have earned over $70 in Amazon.com gift cards with swagbucks. When really trying to earn them you can do it in a pretty quick fashion. They have the basic (web searches), swagcodes (special codes you enter to win more swagbucks (SB’s)), surveys, and more!

Q: Explain more…
A: The basic rundown: It’s a search engine, similar to google.  Set your homepage to Swagbucks.com and then earn swagbucks randomnly for searches! You don’t have to set your homepage, instead I downloaded the toolbar so I know when there’s a post in the SB Blog and I can keep up with the special codes they offer for bonus Swagbucks.

Another way to earn the swagbucks is by doing some special offers. I admit, I did the one for a free Netflix membership and got like 850 SBs for that. I have kept Netflix streaming only ever since, LOVE IT!

They have surveys too! It’s the latest thing – you just give you opinion based on the survey site and you earn SB’s.

Lastly you can earn SBs by having your friends join under you. Once you join you will find your referral link and you can send it to others when you’re bragging about your winnings, but you don’t have to. You can just do it by yourself too.

I haven’t done a race to 450 SB lately, so I think it’s high time to do that again. Anyone want to race me? You save those in a virtual account and then you can redeem them for cool prizes. Thave have t-shirts, Amazon.com gift cards (My personal favorite!), and more. If you’re more of the sweepstakes type you can redeem swagbucks for chances to win stuff. I won 100 swagbucks once for entering a swagstakes.
