Back to school time is upon us and I saw this cute infographic about sending care packages to college students. I know when my kids head to college I want to remember that there is a grocery delivery business around so I can be sure they at least have some good, healthy food options while away from home.
Just today Chee and I spoke about her one day going to college. I was telling her that she needs to learn to coupon properly so she can get good deals on groceries in college. Her response (ah to be a six year old): “You mean one day I get to shop all by myself?” Hahahaha, ok maybe I’m jumping the gun on this talk, but it did cross my mind.

Campus Delivery is a great idea and mygofer seems to have the right idea! They thought of everything a busy mom may want to buy and put it all in a virtual store! There’s fresh meat, produce, groceries, baby supplies, and even pet supplies. They’re like your own personal shopper who can deliver what you need when you need it. What makes mygofer different than some other sites is that the products are handpicked from local stores and then either picked up or delivered to the customer within a matter of hours!
It’s not just for college kids, if you have a new baby at home, a birthday party to plan, or any other life event that has you in a time crunch – they will help you out with same day home delivery (even with evening weekend delivery as an option.) Also, mygofer has partnered with Kmart to provide local pick up as well. If you don’t want to pay for delivery then there’s a free pickup option. You will need to drive to the designated curbside pickup location and mygofer will bring the order out to your car.
I hadn’t heard about this site or service until now, but I know this will not be the last time I hear about it. I expect this to go over well as people have busy lives and this really does help to give time back. What a great idea!
